Sustainability
Sustainability at HILO
Performance gear with a lighter footprint.
At HILO, we believe that creating high-performance products doesn’t mean compromising the planet. We exist to support active, versatile lifestyles — but we know that long-term balance starts with how we treat the environment. That’s why sustainability isn’t a trend for us — it’s a responsibility.
Our Commitment to Better Materials
We’re actively transitioning to recycled and responsibly sourced fabrics across our product lines. From high-quality recycled polyester to post-consumer nylon blends, we’re sourcing materials that perform at the highest level — while reducing our dependence on virgin plastics and oil-based textiles.
Our goal is to have at least 50% of our product line made with recycled or low-impact materials by 2028.
Sustainable Packaging
Every HILO order is shipped in recyclable, minimal packaging. We’re constantly looking for ways to reduce packaging waste without compromising protection or presentation.
Built to Last
Fast fashion fuels waste. HILO takes the opposite approach.
Our gear is built with durability in mind — meaning less landfill, fewer replacements, and more value. The most sustainable product is the one you don’t have to throw away.
What’s Next
We’re exploring:
-
Waterless dye technologies
-
Carbon offset programs
We’re not perfect — but we’re transparent, and we’re committed to pushing forward.
Join Us
Every time you train, hike, or hang out in your HILO gear, you’re choosing better. Together, we can raise the standard for performance apparel — not just in how it looks and feels, but in how it’s made.
Balance isn’t just about lifestyle. It’s about impact.
